County Council District 1
Christopher Daniel is a native Hoosier who has called Hamilton County home since 2022. He and his wife Lauren recently bought their first home in Carmel and welcomed their first child, a boy named Charlie into the world.
For over a decade he has worked in the healthcare field. First as a mental health specialist while working his way through nursing school and then as a emergency department nurse.
He is running for Hamilton County Council because he recognizes that Hamilton County is rapidly growing and managing that growth requires the skilled care, assessment, planning, and execution that only a nurse can bring.
By focusing on attainable housing, childcare for working families, and services for those who need them most he believes Hamilton County can lead the way in cultivating a healthy, self-sustaining economic ecosystem.
In his free time he enjoys hiking and camping with his family and friends, reading American history, and writing a Substack on history and politics called Notes on the United States of America.
