State Senate - S25
Todd Shelton grew up outside Anderson, Indiana, in a community shaped by manufacturing, hard work, and looking out for one another. After graduating from Highland High School, he built a career in manufacturing at Magnequench/General Motors, where a good job meant stability and a future. When the plant closed and jobs moved overseas, Todd experienced firsthand how economic decisions can upend working families. Not long after, he chose to serve his country, joining the United States Army. He served honorably until he was injured and medically discharged, and today he is a disabled veteran who understands the long-term costs of service and the importance of healthcare and affordability and a system that works. After leaving the military, Todd used the GI Bill to earn an undergraduate and a master’s degree and went on to teach technology and workforce-focused skills at Indiana University Indianapolis. He is also a small business owner and an active community leader. Todd Shelton is running for Indiana Senate District 25 to give working Hoosiers a voice again.
